Martin the Alien has arrived on Earth and he wants to know how to make a Healthy Hamburger. I have written a procedure, using the correct structure and language, to instruct Martin on how to make my favourite healthy hamburger.

Title: Healthy hamburger

Ingredients/Materials

1 bun

1 patty

1 lettuce leaf

cheese

tomato

Method:

1.Cut your bun in half.

2. Cook the patty and place on the bottom bun

3. Stick the lettuce on the hamburger.

4. Grate your cheese on the lettuce.

5. Slice your tomato then put it on the burger.

6. Carefully place the top bun on.

7. Eat!

My Holiday

                                                        Rainbow End

YAY! it was the day of the special surprise. We hopped in the car and went to Auckland.  We we got to Auckland dad drove us to our surprise. We arrived at Rainbows End. It was my first time going to Rainbows End. First I went on the pirate ship. It was fun. It felt like we were flying high in the sky. Then we went on the log flume. Next I went on the bumper cars and then the bumper boats. Finally I went on the gold rush. We had so much fun at Rainbow End. We kept going on the same rides over and over again. Then we had lunch. I had a burger and chips.

After lunch we watched the magic show. Haley went on some scary rides with daddy. Kacey was too scared to go on the scary rides. When I went on the gold rush I ducked my head down because it had mining people and they scared me. I had so much fun on the rides at Rainbows End. My favourite ride was the log flume. I would like to go back to Rainbows End.

In Autumn there are red leaves everywhere Leaves fall off the trees like water going down the plug hole. The trees become naked like people getting undressed.Autumn air feels like an ice block.In autumn the trees sway in the wind, shaking the leaves from their branches.

Marshmallows

Marshmallows

Once upon a time in the dark woods there was a little boy camping. He had built a campfire and he was roasting marshmallows. Then a fat green monster that  loved marshmallows came out of the water. The boy gave the monster some marshmallows. The monster was happy and he danced around. The boy ran out of marshmallows so the monster started chasing the boy. The boy grabbed the pillow that looked like a marshmallow. He threw the pillow and the boy ran into the woods to get away from the monster. “HELP!” he cried as he ran through the woods. In the end the   the monster tried to roast the pillow but it went into dust. The monster was sad so he stared at the moon.

One day while out fishing a storm came. We got washed onto a rose island. It was a big with lots of trees.  We went and searched for food and made a shelter. We cooked the fish to for dinner. Then we snuggled down for the night but it was scary. It was hard to go to sleep so we got the sleeping bag and pillow and we went to sleep.  In the morning we woke up and a mean beast was staring at us. The beast did not like roses, so we picked some and chucked them at him. He ran away and we didn’t see it again

Rally Car Driver

Lindsay is 66 years old. She was 20 when she started to drive a rally car. She has only came 1st once. Lindsay has now become a co-driver and has won lots of trophies. The car has to be light so it will go fast. She talked about rallies she has been in.

Chromebook

Getting my Chromebook.

Yay! It was chromebook day. I was so excited. I couldn’t wait to get my chromebook . The countdown began. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 BOOM! I dug into the box. I pulled out the black, shiny chromebook. I loved getting my chromebook. I was happy to finally get my chromebook.  Then we got to work on the chromebook.
