Writing using similes and metaphors.

Here is my writing using similes and metaphors.

“Yay!!” We were finally going on holiday .We all hopped in the car.The car was as loud as a mooing cow. ”Yay!”I screamed as we got on the plane. “The plane is warm like a blankie”.

We got to Australia and it was hot like a pie.We got the car and went off to the place that we were staying at.

At the end of the holiday  we went back to the airport. I said, “ I am a sad puppy.”

We got home and I rushed like a cheetah to my mum.

She said that  she was waiting for me to get home. I was happy. I gave her a present from Australia and I gave my dad one too. It was a nice day.

Something I think I have done well  is but using a mixture of pictures, shapes and text.

Next time I think I could improve by adding a few more words to descri=be my picture.

Something I think I have done well  is thinking up good things to say but

next time I think I could improve fullstops as the teacher found some that I had left out.

Dear Mum and Dad

I am writing to thank you very much for letting  me go on the ski trip last week.

I really enjoyed the whole week and skiing was amazing. I love going to the snow. My favorite parts were swimming at the hot pools and  fly fishing.

I would really love to go skiing again, one day.
