Rainbow end

Hi everyone
This is my writing about what we have done in how live. So I am showing what I have done in my live going to Rainbow End.Leave a comment if you have gone to Rainbow End.Well I hope you like what i write for you.

Rainbow’s End
Have you very gone to Rainbow’s End?  I love going there. Boom! we hopped into the car and ZOOMED off.We put on the music and  drove until we got hungry. So we stopped at a cafe and we got some yummy food.

“Yay!! We are at Rainbow’s End!” I yelled. “I am so excited!” The first ride I went on was a gold rush. I loved that ride better than anything in the world. Then I went on to the swinging ship. All of the rides were so cool. I was a fast cheetah as  we ran from one ride to another. I was like an excited monkey going on all of the rides.

Whoosh! We arrived at our last ride, the log flume. It was wet as a swamp.
Then, it was time to leave. “I am a sad puppy,” I said. “Goodbye Rainbow’s End.”

Writing using similes and metaphors.

Here is my writing using similes and metaphors.

“Yay!!” We were finally going on holiday .We all hopped in the car.The car was as loud as a mooing cow. ”Yay!”I screamed as we got on the plane. “The plane is warm like a blankie”.
We got to Australia and it was hot like a pie.We got the car and went off to the place that we were staying at.
At the end of the holiday  we went back to the airport. I said, “ I am a sad puppy.”
We got home and I rushed like a cheetah to my mum.
She said that  she was waiting for me to get home. I was happy. I gave her a present from Australia and I gave my dad one too. It was a nice day.

A new digital learning object

Kia ora

This week we have been trialling how to use Storyboard-That as a digital learning tool. We had to create a research storyboard based on ANZAC Day and our friend Cyprus. I chose to use photos of the web for all of my images because I wanted some maps and war photos. Here is my work.

Chimera story

Hi everyone
today this blog post is about my Chimera story so my Chimera story,s are your myth creature and my is about a mermaid what myth creature what you what to do have a like.

Once upon a time there was a charming mermaid. She had a magical ocean-blue fishtail, and her hair was long, wavy and had the glamorous colour of a lovely liquid amber tree. The mermaid's name was Tyra and she loved flowing elegantly through the sparkling sea.  Tyra always helped her friends. She had so many of them. One of her best friends was called Kate. She was a very playful mermaid who loved sitting on her favorite blue rock on the shore combing her long silky hair .  Then there was,Willow.  She was a very beautiful mermaid who loved to swim with dolphins and liked to play with friends from her underwater land.

But one day, Tyra realised that all of her treasure that she had collected from all sea lands had been stolen by a sea taniwha. So she felt she was brave enough to go and see the taniwha in his cave but once she got there she was scared because there was sparkling blood and dead bodies lying. It was as dark as the night so she got her shining torch out and she saw her treasure. She grabbed the gold and ran out with the taniwha running after her.

When she got back to the village her friends helped her fight and kill the taniwha. So all the people were happy and they threw a party and lived happily ever after.

Cricket

Kia Ora Everyone!
This week team Moana did some cricket. We learnt how to do cricket then we learnt how to bowl & catch then we had the game my team lost. When you go to bowl the ball you make a peace sign and you put your ball in between the peace sign and put your thumb under the ball like a claw and then you raise your spare hand and throw the ball. I had lots of fun!
