Making a recount skeleton

KIa ora After we made our writing skeleton on the planning sheet, we had to highlight all the notes and then copy and paste them below in a list one after the other. So, our story skeleton looks like it can stand up now but it is still just bones. Our teacher says writers call this an outline. We read our outlines out loud to each other and they sound good.Here is mine below.

Easter

Yipee, it is time to eat chocolate I yelled.

At Easter weekend

My family and I

At home

Played games and ate Easter eggs

In the morning I went to get my chocolate.

They were crunchy.

Next I went to the easter egg hunt.

When I open the wrapping they were as brown as dirt.

At the end of the day I went to bed.

I was happy.
